Wood paneling. Electric burners. Leaky sink. Cheap tile.


These are the mainstays of the quintessential 1970’s apartment kitchen. As it turns out, that’s what I’ve got at the time of this writing. I always said it was insanely ugly; Chris Loughran stepped it up and decided we own it. I’ve actually never lived anywhere with a gas range, for whatever reason, so it came naturally to do a show revolving around the joys of the coil.

This being said, I don’t let it stop me from taking on pretty much any project from any culture. From Big Macs to Mapo Tofu to Brazilian Beef Stew. All here. Right now.
