For Episode 5, we went to Sanford, a town it is pretty safe to say almost no one thinks of as an outpost for food Maine food. In fact, some folks got somewhat irritated with us for even thinking to go there. No shit. Anyway, not surprisingly, we had en epic time bowling, drinking, eating, and drinking even more. In fact, as you’ll see, we almost became convinced that it wasn’t going to be any good and we were beyond pleasantly surprised.

Many thanks to all of the incredibly accommodating restaurants in Sanford that you saw in this episode; Fi-Wood in Sanford, Maine; Mike Rattlesnake Cunnane and Gemma for telling us the story about coming out to her mom in the parking lot of a Pizza Hut in Sanford (a short-lived dabbling in lesbianism). But shame on her for not reminding us to shoot a scene in their parking lot in which she retells that story on camera.
